Ashok Jagtap is also known as Bhai Jagtap. He is married to Tejaswani Jagtap with whom they have two daughters. He moved to Mumbai to pursue higher education and got active in student politics through National Students Union of India.
Career
Ashok Jagtap started his political career as a trade union leader of Bharatiya Kamgar Karmachari Mahasangh (BKKM) where he gained a reputation for making it a success story during his tenure. In 2001, he joined the Indian National Congress and subsequently served as the Vice president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress.
